Single-crystal structure determination and powder X-ray diffraction data collection are available in support of research activities within the Department and University and also as services to external (industry) customers.

CORDE Nanofabrication Centre

The Core Nanofabrication cleanrooms provide the ideal environment to produce high-quality devices. With an extensive range of equipment, they can support activities with a broad variety of materials including compound semiconductors, silicon, diamond and organic semiconductor materials from chips to small batches of wafers.

Veterinary Medicine Analytical Chemistry & Trace Element Analysis

The Analytical Chemistry and Trace Element Analysis Facility offers expert advice on quantitative element analysis, as well as sample preparation and analysis on a collaborative or fee-for-service basis. The facility also offers user access and advice on particle sizing, UV/Vis and FT-IR analysis. 

Veterinary Medicine Cell Imaging and Analysis

Located within the University’s Department of Veterinary Medicine, the Cellular Imaging and Analysis Facility offers a cutting-edge, fully supported imaging and cytometry service. Designed to enable the generation of high-quality quantitative imaging and cytometry data, the facility provides innovative solutions tailored to research needs.
